Stabilising support for the wrist

Light compression and stabilisation of the wrist can be a good idea for various medical conditions: These include wrist arthrosis, wrist sprain or tendinitis. The Manumed active E+motion wrist support is made from compressive fabric which stabilises the wrist effectively. A strap gives additional stability and its wide opening also relieves pressure from the outer area of the knuckles. Alongside the tried and trusted medical effect, Manumed active E+motion scores extra points with its exclusive features in a sporty look. The breathable fabric made from active fibre and merino fibre support the thermo-regulation in both summer and winter, adapting perfectly to movement and also giving the joint extra stability for high stress during sport, at work or in everyday life. The integrated hand splint is anatomically pre-formed and size-optimised – for a high degree of wearing comfort. The extra-large comfort zone in the thumb area and the pressure-free cuff make the support particularly comfortable to wear.

How does it work?/Mode of action

Manumed active has a stabilising effect that prevents unhealthy movements of the wrist through the interaction of compressive knitted fabric, belt strap and individually adjustable splints. This relieves the muscles of the lower arm as well as tendons and tendon insertions in the affected area and reduces irritations. The compressive effect of the knitted fabric also restricts swelling.

In principle, the support can be worn for the whole day but should be taken off during longer periods of rest (e.g. sleep). But you should make this dependent on how you feel. In the event of unexpected, excessive changes, e.g. an intensification of the symptoms, please take the product off immediately and contact your doctor or supplying dealer.  The support is suitable for use in water. After use, please rinse out thoroughly.

Donning/fitting instructions

Please note that initial fitting should be supervised by a qualified healthcare professional. • Before you put the bandage on, stick the attached strap to the middle of the cloth-covered support. The wide end of the strap should be attached to the cloth-covered support so that the thumb opening in the bandage and the strap are on the same side. • Now pull the bandage over your hand. The “E+Motion” slogan should be on the back of the hand here. • Fasten the strap so that the opening in the strap goes over your outside wristbone. • Then attach it by affixing the narrow end of the strap to the strap. • Ensure that the support is positioned correctly when you put the bandage on. The support should be lined up with the underside of your forearm as straight as possible.

To take it off, undo the strap. Push the palm of your hand out of the bandage.Apply pressure to the inside pockets and guides, and pull the bandage off your hand.

어떻게 작동하는가? / 작용 방식(MOA)

압박 섬유와 벨트형 스트랩 그리고 이외에도 같이 사용 할 수 있는 팔목 보조기의 상호작용을 통해 마뉴메드 엑티브의 고정 효과는 팔목에 무리가 될 수 있는 움직임을 방지합니다. 이는 팔뚝 근육의 통증을 줄일 뿐만 아니라 증상이 발생하는 부위의 힘줄과 그 주변부의 염증을 감소시킵니다. 또한 압박 섬유의 압박 효과는 해당 부위가 부어 오르는 것을 방지합니다.

착용성 / 착용 방법

부목을 처음으로 착용할 시 훈련된 전문가의 감독하에 착용 하시기 바랍니다.

• 착용 전, 스트랩을 부목의 팔목 안쪽 정 중앙에 먼저 부착합니다. 스트랩의 넓은 면이 부착이 되어야 하며 스트랩의 좁은 면은 부목의 엄지 방향과 동일해야 합니다.
• 이제 부목을 당겨 손목을 집어 넣습니다. 이모션의 로고가 팔의 위/바깥 방향으로 향하고 있어야 합니다.
• 스트랩이 바깥 손목뼈를 감싸 안는 방향으로 스트랩을 감아줍니다.
• 그리고 스트랩의 좁은 면 벨크로가가 스트랩에 닿는 부위에 닫아줍니다.
• 부목 착용시 부목의 위치가 정확히 자리했는지 확인하시기 바랍니다. 지주는 팔뚝과 최대한 일직선이 되도록 정렬이 되어야 합니다.

벗을 때는 스트랩을 먼저 풀어줍니다. 그런 다음 손을 부목에서 빼내십시오. 내부 주머니를 당겨 부목을 벗으면 됩니다.
