How does it work?/Mode of action

Lumbamed plus has a stabilising and relieving effect on the lumbar spine. Its compressive knitted fabric and the pad that is used also stimulate circulation and have a pain-relieving, massage effect without affecting the muscular force. Supports have the greatest effect during physical exercise. In principal, the support can be worn all day. The special cut in the area of the groin (Comfort Zone) is decisive for the correct and comfortable fit of the support. However, this depends on how comfortable the support is to wear. The support should be taken off for longer breaks (e.g. sitting for a long time or a long car drive, sleeping). If you suffer excessive pain or discomfort during wear, please take off the product immediately and contact your doctor or specialized shop. The support is suitable for use in water. After use, please rinse out the product thoroughly.

Donning/fitting instructions

Pull the fabric cover over the massage pad and secure the pad in the centre or in accordance with the physician’s or healthcare professional’s instructions on the middle grey hook and loop fastener section between the two rods. The pad should be secured in such a way that the bottom end rests against the top of the area where the two buttocks come together. The label on the right inside of the fastener provides information about how to put the support on. First, slip into the wrist strap in the left inside of the fastener. - Wrap the bandage around the body and then please refer back to the label to check whether you are holding the bandage correctly. - Now, slip into the outer wrist strap on the right side. Pull the two fastening sides over each other and then secure them as centrally as possible with the hook and loop fastener. The bandage has been correctly applied when the bottom edge of the fastener is located just above the pubic bone. The small finger tab on the edge of the right side of the fastener will help you to undo the bandage again. The Clima Comfort knitted fabric will achieve its best breathing activity when the bandage is worn directly against the skin.
