Levamed E+motion is an ankle support that can be used for many different kinds of injuries. These include mild sprains and instabilities of the ankle as well as swellings or irritations.  The Levamed E+motion has compressive fabric as well as a thin silicone quartz pad with 3D profile. Working together, they stabilise the joint and create a pleasant massage effect that can reduce swelling and promote the healing process. Alongside the tried and trusted medical effect, Levamed E+motion scores extra points with its exclusive features in a sporty look. The breathable fabric made from active fibre and merino fibre support the thermo-regulation in both summer and winter, adapting perfectly to movement and also giving the joint extra stability for high stress during sport, at work or in everyday life. The extra-large comfort zone in the bending region and the pressure-free cuff promote wearing comfort.

Indications

Slight instability of the ankle joint

Sprains and distorsions

Joint effusions and swellings due to arthritis and osteoarthritis

Chronic, postoperative and post-traumatic inflammation

Contraindications

Diseases or injuries of the skin in the area of use, especially with inflammatory symptoms (excessive warming, swelling or reddening)

Sensitivity and perfusion disorders of the legs or feet (e.g. in the case of diabetes)

Lymph outflow disorders, as well as unclear swellings of soft tissues, apart from the area of use

How does it work?/Mode of action

Levamed causes a massage effect, which supports perfusion, with interaction between the compressive knitted fabric and the two integrated silicon inlays. This effect reduces swelling and bruising. Irritation and pain are relieved. Muscular control and the stabilisation of the ankle joint improve. Supports are particularly beneficial during physical exercise.

Donning/fitting instructions

Fold the top of the support over as far down as the silicone inlay. Take hold off the support in the middle of the silicone inlays and pull it over the foot until the heel part fits tightly. Unfold upper part of the support and pull it upwards, if necessary. Ensure that the silicone inlays are correctly located either side of the ankle. Initial application must be made under medical supervision.

Wearing directions

The supports is designed to fit comfortably and may be worn all day. It should be removed during prolonged periods of inactivity (e.g. sitting for a long time or a long car drive, sleeping). If you suffer excessive pain or discomfort during wear, please take off the product immediately and seek medical advice. The support is suitable for use in water. After use, please rinse thoroughly.

착용성 / 착용 방법

실리콘 지지대까지 상단 부분을 겉으로 접어줍니다. 지지대의 가운데를 붙잡고 뒤꿈치가 정확하게 끼워지는 곳까지 발을 넣어줍니다. 접힌 상단의 소매를 펴주고 필요할 경우 위로 당겨줍니다. 실리콘 지지대가 발목의 양쪽에 정확하게 위치하고 있는지 확인해 주십시오. 첫 착용은 의료인의 감독하에 착용하시길 바랍니다.

착용 유의사항

하루 종일 사용이 가능하도록 편안한 착용감을 선사하도록 디자인되었습니다. 장시간의 무활동 동안(예: 장시간 앉아 있을 경우, 운전 또는 수면 시간)에는 벗고 계시길 권장합니다. 착용 시 과도한 통증 또는 불편함을 경험할 경우, 즉시 제품을 벗어 두시고 의료인의 상담을 받으시기 바랍니다. 사용 후 물에 가볍게 헹궈주십시오.
