Pain in the elbow can have many causes: In tennis elbow (Epicondylopathia humeri radialis), golfer’s elbow (Epicondylopathia humeri ulnaris) or pain caused by arthrosis / arthritis, the Epicomed E+motion elbow support helps to bring relief with its compressive fabric.  The integrated silicone quartz pads with 3D profile create a beneficial massage effect as you move. They also stimulate the circulation of the tissue. This means that swelling and oedemas can be relieved more efficiently and the healing process promoted. The pressure on irritated tendons can be individually adjusted with the detachable strap. Alongside the tried and trusted medical effect, the Epicomed E+motion scores extra points with its exclusive features in a sporty look. The breathable fabric made from active fibre and merino fibre support the thermo-regulation in both summer and winter, adapting perfectly to movement and also giving the joint extra stability for high stress during sport, at work or in everyday life. How does it work?/Mode of action

Epicomed causes a massage effect, which supports perfusion, by interacting with compressive knitted fabric and the two integrated silicon inlays. This effect furthers the decline in swellings and bruises. Irritation and pain are relieved. In addition, the lashing strap can be individually adjusted for the level of stress at work or during sport. This helps to reduce excessive stress on the musculature and tendons. Supports cause the greatest effect during physical exercise. In principal, the support can be worn all day. However, this depends on how comfortable the support is to wear. You should avoid bending your arm tight for a long period. The support should be taken off for longer breaks (e.g. when sleeping).

Donning/fitting instructions

To make putting Epicomed on easier, fold down the upper fastening edge. Pull the bandage over the elbow so that the crease of the elbow sits in the middle of the knitted comfort zone and the seam on the back side runs over the middle of the elbow bone at the back of the arm. Then roll the upper part of the bandage back up. The position of the bandage is correct when the inner and outer bone (epicondyles) can be felt in the gaps in the silicone inserts.  The strap enables the pressure to be regulated for each individual, depending on what their body requires (tightening, loosening). If required, the strap can also easily be removed whilst the device is being worn.   Please take care that trained staff instruct you when putting on the support for the first time.

Wearing directions

If you suffer excessive pain or discomfort during wear, please take off the product immediately and contact your doctor or specialized shop. The support is also suitable for use in water. After use, please rinse out the product thoroughly.

어떻게 작동하는가? / 작용 방식(MOA)

에피코메드는 압박 섬유와 두 개의 돌기 패드의 작용을 통해 관류 활동을 보조하는 마사지 효과를 제공합니다. 이는 부기와 타박상의 최소화, 염증과 통증은 완화 및 근육 제어력과 발목의 안정화 향상을 가져다 줍니다. 또한 고정 스트랩은 개인 개인에 맞는 부하 또는 운동 정도에 따라 압력 정도가 조절하여 근조직과 힘줄의 과부하를 줄일 수 있습니다. 지지력의 제공은 특히 운동시 더욱 유용하게 작용합니다. 기본적으로 부목은 하루 종일 착용이 가능하지만 이는 부목을 착용하는 동안에 느끼는 편안함에 따라 달라집니다. 장시간 동안 팔을 강하게 구부리는 것을 자제해야 합니다. 장시간의 무활동 동안(예: 수면 시간)에는 벗고 계시길 권장합니다.

착용성 / 착용 방법

에피코메드의 착용을 쉽게 하기 위해, 상단의 가장자리를 뒤집어줍니다. 팔을 집어넣어 안쪽의 컴포트 존이 팔꿈치 안쪽 가운데 위치하도록 하고 뒷면의 솔기가 팔꿈치뼈 중앙을 지나도록 합니다. 그런 다음 상단의 가장자리를 다시 펴줍니다. 내부와 외부의 뼈(상피골)이 실리콘 삽입물 구멍에 느껴지면 부목이 올바르게 자리하고 있다는 것입니다. 스트랩은 각자가 필요로 하는 강한 혹은 약한 압박에 맞춰 개인 맞춤형 압박 조절을 가능케 합니다. 또한 부목 착용 중에도 손쉽게 스트랩 제거가 가능합니다. 부목을 처음으로 착용할 시 훈련된 전문가의 감독하에 착용 하시기 바랍니다.
